Satoshi Kitano

VP of Hardware Engineering | GITAI

Dr. Satoshi Kitano is a passionate engineer dedicated to developing robots for extreme environments, and he currently serves as the VP of Hardware Engineering at GITAI. Holding a Ph.D. in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, he previously served as an Executive Officer at the industrial robotics company HiBot. As lead mechanical designer and system engineer at GITAI, Satoshi spearheaded the company’s first extravehicular robotics project, S2, which successfully demonstrated its functionality on the exterior of the ISS.
