John Bubnikovich is President of ABB’s Robotics Division in the United States. He was appointed to this role in December 2022, returning to ABB where he served from 2012 to 2018 in business development, sales and marketing leadership roles.
John has over twenty years of regional and global experience in robotics and automation in a variety of general management and sales roles. In addition to his time at ABB, he has held senior positions at DESTACO and Kuka Robotics, and most recently served as the CEO of Convergix, a private equity venture focused on investing in automation companies.
He is focused on driving transformational growth in ABB’s robotics and applications portfolio, and is known for developing strong teams, and has a strong record of accelerating sales and income growth.
John rejoins ABB at a pivotal juncture. Through recent developments, ABB now has the most comprehensive and technically advanced robotic, controller and software portfolio in the industry. Coupled with a major expansion and renovation completed earlier this year at the U.S. headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, ABB is positioned for substantial growth in the United States.
He holds a BS Business Management, Oakland University and a Masters Science in Strategic Management, Walsh College.
