$5,000 Prize
For seven years, Pitchfire has been a must-attend event where robotics startups compete for a $5,000 first-place prize at RoboBusiness. Pitchfire will be covered by The Robot Report, Robotics Business Review and Mobile Robot Guide, as well as other media publications.
Startups participating in Pitchfire will also gain invaluable experience by presenting in front of the entire RoboBusiness, receiving feedback from industry investors and advisors, networking with industry leaders and more.
Previous RoboBusiness Pitchfire winners include:
2019: Tombot (Companion robot for emotional support)
Fast Passed and Lively
During Pitchfire, five startups will deliver a 5-minute ‘pitch’ to a panel of judges – along with RoboBusiness attendees – describing their company’s solution, business model, value proposition and more. After all contestants have pitched, Pitchfire judges will compare notes, come to a consensus, and announce a two runners-up and a winner based on who they believe to be best primed for commercial success.
Pitchfire takes place October 19 following the last sessions of the day. Host Andra Keay, Managing Director of Silicon Valley Robotics, is sure to keep things moving and lively. Fast paced, dynamic and fun, Pitchfire is a perennial favorite among RoboBusiness attendees.
