Deepu TallaSanta Clara, CA – July 19, 2018 – RoboBusiness is excited to announce this year’s opening keynote speaker, NVIDIA’s Deepu Talla. As Vice President & General Manager of Autonomous Machines at NVIDIA, Talla is responsible for deploying AI technology in devices such as factory robots, commercial drones, and video analytics.

In a keynote titled “Driving the Next Wave of Robotics Through AI”, Talla will discuss how AI, as the most powerful technology of our time, is critical for driving robotics breakthroughs across the industry. AI brings the potential for machines to act intelligently in factories and warehouses, working efficiently and safely around humans.

Drawing on the work NVIDIA is doing on its Isaac robotics platform, he will demonstrate the power of combining quality hardware with equally strong software, with the goal of equipping innovators with the tools needed to build the machines of the future.

Talla previously worked in NVIDIA’s mobile business unit, and in various executive management and technical leadership roles at Texas Instruments. In addition, he holds a PhD. in computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

“The advancements NVIDIA has made in the area of AI and throughout the robotics ecosystem is significant and represent critical building blocks to the future capabilities of the industry.  We’re honored to have Deepu Talla as our opening keynote presenter at RoboBusiness and have him share his perspective and insights on the future and impact of AI.  Those involved in the development and implementation of robotics will benefit greatly from Talla’s keynote presentation,” says Jim Wagner, managing director of RoboBusiness.

The keynote will kick off a redesigned RoboBusiness, with four unique conferences allowing speakers to dive in deeper into topics around robotics, AI, big data, and AR/VR.
