How do I get to the convention center?

Where should I park at the convention center?
There are several parking garages conveniently located within three blocks of the Hynes Convention Center. Please click here for a list of garages. There is also limited meter street parking available.

When is registration open?
Wednesday, April 15: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday, April 16: 7:00am - 4:00pm

What are the conference program hours?
Wednesday, April 15: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Thursday, April 16: 8:00am – 4:45pm

What are the expo hall hours?
Wednesday, April 15: 11:00am – 5:00pm
Thursday, April 16: 11:00am – 4:00pm

What do I do when I arrive onsite?
When you arrive at the Hynes Convention Center, please proceed to the RoboBusiness Registration Counters located on the third floor to pick up your badge and event materials. All attendees MUST present a photo identification when picking up their badge. If you have pre-registered through our Academic Program, you will also be required to present your academic credentials.

If you have registered for a Conference Pass and plan to attend the Speaker Meet & Greet on Tuesday evening at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, badges will be available for pick up at the RoboBusiness table adjacent to the Sheraton lobby bar from 5:30pm - 7:00pm.

RoboBusiness is a business-to-business professional trade event. No one under the age of 18 will be admitted onto the show floor or in the conference program.

How will I find my way to all of the classes and special events?
When you arrive onsite you will receive your official event Show Directory. The Show Directory contains a daily agenda, conference session room assignments, special event information, a map of the expo floor, and more.

What does my badge give me access to?

Full Conference Attendees
Admission to all Conference sessions, keynote presentations, the Expo Hall, all sponsored breakfasts, Speaker Meet & Greet, Opening Night Networking Reception, and Birds-of-a-Feather Discussions.

Expo Only Attendees
Admission to the Expo Hall and keynote presentations on Wednesday morning.

Speakers
Admission to all Conference sessions, keynote presentations, the Expo Hall, all sponsored breakfasts, Speaker Meet & Greet, Opening Night Networking Reception, and Birds-of-a-Feather Discussions.

Media
Admission to all Conference sessions, keynote presentations, the Expo Hall, all sponsored breakfasts, Speaker Meet & Greet, Opening Night Networking Reception, and Birds-of-a-Feather Discussions.

Can I bring my child with me to the event?
RoboBusiness is a business-to-business professional conference. No one under the age of 18 will be admitted onto the show floor or in the conference program. There can be no exceptions to this rule.

I registered but can no longer attend. Can I receive a refund?
Cancellation requests must be received in writing no later than Friday, March 20, 2009 and are subject to a $50 service charge. All registrations are non-refundable after March 20. If you cancel, you will receive a credit towards attending any of Robotics Trends conferences in the future for the amount of the cancellation. Substitutions from your company are allowed.

Yes, the Hynes Convention Center offers free WiFi services.

Will sessions be available for purchase?
RoboBusiness 2009 Conference Sessions and Keynote Presentations will be audio recorded and available for purchase.* Order your DVD onsite for discounted show-only pricing. The DVD sales booth will be located outside of Room 304.
*Session availability contingent upon speaker’s authorization to record.
